Will probably be re-loaned to someone else in Conf South, but he really should be in League 2. Shame to see him go as a great player, but he needs to work on finishing as that has been woeful throughout the loan.
He must have been the player who did the most running for us in games, so it will be a shame to lose that side of his game, as he is such a determined player. But there were various areas where he needs to improve, and hopefully will as he carries on his development.
That is one of the really interesting things about this squad, there is so much potential improvement still in the squad, as we only have a few players over 25, so whereas many other teams have players that have reached their full potential and are as good as they will ever get, we have players like Crossley and Kain who are still developing, playing at a higher level than they have played before, but really been coached to make that step up, and others who have also improved.
That is no mean coaching achievement, and a major attraction for ever important player recruitment, "join us and we will make you a better player". Looking back at last season I can't think of any players who ended up better than when they arrived. But thankfully a different story this season.
Good luck to Jephte. Quick, attacking player and did really well for us, although maybe the last month not as effective as when he started with us. Wonder if the heavier pitches and rain has had an effect on his game? If he does go higher then the better pitches will suit him.
Sorry to see Jepte go. He did a good job for us. Opens the door on the flank for Lewis White if he can remain fit or possibly Antony Papadopoulos to make that position his own. Then there is always Enoch Mwonge or TJ Bramble so not all is lost yet
