Why bother giving the owner any money if they cant even be bothered to reply? I bet the tenants would!

My son wanted to hire it, A Welling supporter for over 15years and was quoted £400 ! That's a rip off. He hired a room in a pub for half the money that Welling wanted.

 2 bar staff @ £10 p.h. x 6 hours = £120 conservative estimates if staff can be found

 2 security @ £10 p.h. x 6 hours = £120

 cleaner     @ £8:p.h. x 2 hours = £16

Staffing level comes to £256 minimum then add on key holder to lock up your talking at least £275 add on to that electricity etc brings the total upto nearer £300. Cannot guarantee bar takings as the place could be full of people like me who could make a pint last all night (and I did once in Blackpool as they didnt serve real ale). Like it or not club is a business and bills have to be paid. Yes a pub can do it cheaper and sometimes free as they already have staffing available and probally make a heafty profit on sales.

We hired the venue for my later mothers wake back in 2023. We viewed a few venues in Welling and the upstairs bar ticked all the boxes. I think it was good value. We had two bar staff for 9 hrs and they done a great job. We were able to bring our own food and do some preparation before people arrived. The staff were great and the cleanred up the place after though we didnt make any mess just a lot of food left over etc. Also we left a few things there which we were able to pick up the next day. I would definitely use it again for a party of similar fuction.
