Bloke puts himself on offer to organise. Fair play to him.
Give it a go yourself next season.
I bet it aint easy.

Not good to hear what happened last night. Its been made very clear that it's against the law to drink booze on coaches, as if the coach was stopped, everyone would be chucked off and the coach company and or WUSA would be fined. Would those individuals pay the fine?

I also heard of one of these supporters bringing smoke bombs to yesterday's game and a plan to bring them to Slough. Beyond stupid. We have had a good away support this season and its good to see a younger group of supporters following the club, but actions like this are bang out of order.

Agree with you. I have only just seen post on here and on watsapp group. Ask Polo, ask me ask Yazza it is bloody hard work organising coach travel. From getting quotes to publicising to getting booking to chasing up payment. Then you get people dropping out after paying and virtually demanding their money back. On the day people turn up late or do not bother to turn up at all. You cannot fully relax as if coach has a stop then you need to ensure everyone is back on board and there is always someone who strolls along 10 minutes after you say get back clutching their KFC. After the game once again you get held up by someone thoughtless who thinks a 5.30 departure means 5.40 for them. Then there is a problem with thinking you can get pissed on the coach coming back. Some fans think it is ok to bring cans and bottles on the coach when it totally against the law. Any problem it is not just the fan who can get fined. The drivers job is at risk plus the organiser - both as an individual and as WUSA can get a hefty fine.

Having just found out some of what happened we will be lucky if coach companies accept our bookings in the future.

I wasn't there but from what I've heard, I'm glad I wasn't. The people involved need to grow up and realise that rules are in place for a reason and that the people who put time and effort into organising coach trips, should be shown some respect. Personally I'd ban all those involved from future travel on WUSA coaches, but that's a decision the committee needs to look into.

I watched our home game against Tonbridge at the Tonbridge end as my son with me lives in Tonbridge. Their fans were insulting our keeper over his time with Maidstone in the national league. Last night against haven't our fans joked with their keeper and it was so nice to see our friendly face, rather than other teams abusive behaviour.

The coach trip should be fun not some fan with a dislike for authority behaving self indulgently. Walking off the coach I heard tons of angry shouting too far to hear what about but can guess who and what about. None of that behaviour fits in with happy wings. Be big and apologise for bad behaviour we all make mistakes so learn from this one.

I feel we all should be more than a little disappointed that a so called Welling United fan feels the need to come on this forum ans disrespect an individual who has organised and run an event on behalf of WUSA.

I do not know what his complaint is, but such trips do not run on their own and need the good offices of individuals who take much time and care in ensuring that trips run smoothly for the good of all concerned. Please a little more decorum and respect, if that cannot be managed then go support somewhere else.

As far as the other issues are concerned, I am in complete agreement with Mark.

I have already made my point on a private WhatsApp and given permission for it to be read out at this evenings meeting as unfortunately I can't be there.

I have made my views about being drunk and insulting people previously. I'm not against drinking, I enjoy a beer as much as the next man, usually I'm driving though, so can't. But there is a time and a place. I did have a beer in the Havant bar. People always feel braver under the influence and say things they wouldn't when they are sober. Mark, bless him, has taken the trouble to book 3 coaches, 2 of them heavily subsidised and all the thanks he gets is someone insulting him. Charming! Luke should be ashamed. Mark didn't make the law, may not agree with it, but it is the law and as the organiser and representative of WUSA is responsible to enforce it. Mark asked very nicely on the coach for passengers to refrain from drinking. They claimed it was their shopping. Really! If WUSA refused to run anymore coaches or coach firms refused our bookings it would be down to the few who have spoilt it for everyone else. I have tried to support the coaches because they are good for Welling United. If they were cancelled it's no skin off my nose because I would drive but it would be a shame. I too encourage seeing younger supporters but they need to grow up and act like responsible adults. I care more about the reputation of Welling United Football Club and it's supporters.

I see by his profile Luke is 25 years old in August. Not exactly a yoof. Well old enough to act like a responsible adult.

It's a surprise - and relief! - to know it wasn't Alan or Riverstown!

When I first came here my behaviour may not have always been the best, but a wiser man than me here advised me that it is silly behaving badly in a club the size of Welling as one will eventually meet whoever one has crossed.

That is a great point, which I took on board, and hopefully whoever was involved in this stupidity will as well. So making rude comments about someones appearance, or whatever, isnt smart if one is planning to spend time around the club and sooner or later will see whoever one is slagging off.

The big thing is we all support the same team, and the strange thing is once one chats with a fan in real life instead of online one sees they are often very different in real life. Alan used to annoy the hell out of me online, then I spoke with him at some matches, and saw deep down he has some carefully hidden qualities! As, I am sure, so does Riverstown!

I've loved this season, I really appreciate having coaches, and time others spent getting quotes and all the time for the seat bookings so we can see the away games. I watched the first half against Havant from the half way line, and loved how our fans outsang the miserable silent Havant fans.

Cheers!
