Could someone explain why we have bought a player that as far as I can see has only made his senior debut in football at the age of 24 and played only 10 games in senior football
Hopefully someone will tell me his stats are wrong
I cannot imagine we have bought a player - thats just not a Welling thing. I would think Rod must see something in Mitchel even if the quoted stats are correct. If Rod and Kevin are not satisfied after tonight then he would have cost us a days wages and washing powder to clean the kit.

Free agents dont cost anything as far as Im aware.
he is a free agent after he was let go by Bromley at the end of last year we're I think you find he played 10-15 games for themi take it he's been training with us and Ron want to have a look at him in a match and we don't know wee he's been playing before he joined Bromley
Yes, this is definitely the case. My Bromley contact tells me that it was tough for Mitchel to get a regular place in the side last season. Having said that, Bromley did gain promotion to League Two so the competition would have been strong. Apparently came from Watford's academy and, prior to that, had played in Holland at similar level to Bromley.
Dropping down to Step Two could be nearer the mark for Mitchel. If he does stay with us, he would need to keep up to scratch though (as was mentioned in last night's thread) as there will be some difficult games ahead.
Although he was younger and was a striker (rather than a midfielder like Mitchel), a certain ex Welling & D*rtford player found their feet at this level. Keep in touch... with the Dutch.
