Went there a couple of weeks ago on a Friday evening to watch Cannons Wood. Could have been a hell of a journey as A2 traffic was solid from Dartford Heath. Luckily I could turn on sat nav and go via side turnings to the crossing. Cant understand why Aveley give way to Hashtag as they will certainly get a lower gate on the Friday night.

Very clever from Aveley. They get an extra 24 rest on us as we play just 72 hours earlier plus they get the weekend off before playing Maidstone on Monday. I don't know why we have agreed to this.

Looking at fixtures for the FAT this weekend Aveley play at home Saturday and Hashtag Sunday. I have to agree it sound like Aveley hope our lads will be knackered after Tuesday and give them an extra day before Monday. Only good thing about 8 p.m. kick off is if driving by the time you get to the bridge it will be free. Not so good if you have to rely on public transport.
