After yesterday I make that five red cards in 17 league games. The roll of dishonour is as follows
Burchell v Bath
Taylor Crossdale v Chesham
Pegrum v Boreham Wood
Lankshear v Enfield
Winfield v Truro
Having seen all five games I think only Burchell was hard done by although you could make a case for Lankshear..?? Two of the other three were second yellows for diving and yet we continue to throw ourselves to the ground in subsequent games....
None of those were straight red cards and, at least three or four of them the second yellow was issued very quickly after the first yellow was picked up - a lack of discipline, stupidity or perhaps both...?!
The way we are playing at the moment we are struggling 11 v 11 so can ill afford to collect these red cards on such a regular basis. One of those games we held on to win but the other four all ended in defeat.

It's too much of a risk to keep players on the pitch when they get a yellow card. With 5 subs available they should generally just be replaced immediately.

Could someone clear up the Burchell's second booking at Bath? Was it for a foul or dissent?
The Bath commentators were astonished at the sending off so they thought the second booking was for dissent.
Having seen the video it was for a foul. He got there a fraction late and caught the defender. We were screaming for a penalty (not the only screaming that went on that day...) but, on reflection, it was a foul by Burchell although a second yellow card was harsh in my opinion
