Yesterday was definitely not a 3-1 game, we more than matched them, battled well as we did at Maidstone, the difference Yesterday was that we created more chances than we did on New Year's Day. They took the lead early but apart from that they didn't really cause us much problems in the first half. Second half we came out and from the first whistle were really good, we took the game to them and I think it shocked them. We thoroughly deserved the equaliser from great build up play and I thought we was going to get another soon after. Unfortunately a couple of mistakes allowed Torquay to score twice and get the victory, but make no mistake, despite what some of the deluded comments from the home fan's on Twitter are saying, Torquay knew that they has been in a game. We battled well and that's what we need again on Tuesday night at PVR. the coach on the way home was obviously disappointed BUT positive in the knowledge that we CAN mix it with the best team's in NLS. Our 29 fans were magnificent and somehow made more noise than the 3,700 odd home fan's. Friday night in Torquay was brilliant with supporters meeting up for some drinks, it was great for me to spend time with them, this club really has some genuinely great supporters, even Howard came out and was buying drinks for the fan's, it was a great evening. Back to the football and we now have back to back home games, if we can play like we did Saturday then I'm confident of picking up points
On the train from Torquay to Newton Abbot I got chatting to a group of Torquay fans. Actually sensible people who said the scoreline flattered them and they thought we would nick it.

Some Torquay supporters told Dave Budden that we are the best team that they have played this season. You can take Twitter comments with a pinch of salt.
