I have never player, managed or coached so Im the last person to criticise. So all I will say is I have seen better entertainment at SCEFL level and below. Plus my feet are blooming cold.

Home from the game. Some Enfield fans said it was a 50/50 game and we were unlucky to lose. They also said they hoped both clubs stay up. I think they were just being kind. I told them they deserved to win and I stand by that. I thought we were toothless in attack and didn't look like scoring which I believe has been our major problem all season. I don't see any goals in this team. I think tonight we were outfought and outplayed in midfield. In all honesty I think we are too defensive in our set-up with 5 at the back and on a couple of occasions 6 at the back. It demonstrates a lack of belief and a fear of the opposition who then sense blood. I predicted 2-0 to Enfield before the game and if it had been one of my Super 6 that would have been 5 points for me. We have flirted with relegation I think for the last 4 seasons. Sooner or later our luck will run out. This could very well be the season. I hope not but I'm worried. Looking at the table I think Weymouth and Aveley are pretty much relegated, then the last 2 places are between St. Albans, Enfield Town and Welling United but the other 2 have put themselves in a position whereby if they win their games in hand they will both move above us.

Verdict: Could be the Isthmian Premier league for us next season

The Enfield keeper didn't have to make a save all night. We continue to turn up in numbers to support our beloved Welling United Football Club.

Let's see some fight, lads. You saw how many of us were there cheering you on. We are loyal supporters who will back you 100%, as long as the passion is there. Let's have a reaction & see what we've got about us.

If the Wings...

Absolutely shocking performance tonight. So many problems:
- Nearly everyone looked knackered.
- Second to every ball.
- Didn't win a physical battle all night.
- Passing was abysmal.
- Panicked defending and just slashing/mis-kicking the ball, not even the composure to simply clear the ball upfield.
- No urgency (this was most apparent in the second half, when losing 2-0 and after TJ had blasted a rare shot out of the stadium, everyone stood around and it took Rhys to run from his goals to the half way line to get a new ball to get the game restarted!)
- Nothing sticking up front
- Midfield was non-existant. Worst I've seen both Gene and Grant play.
- Strange substitutions. Taking off Dan Martin again who always looks like our most dangerous attacking option, and replacing Josh with Burch??? Although Josh was quiet tonight, I think he is more of a goal threat when compared to what I've seen so far from Alabi.

All in all, despite some poor and disappointing performances throughout the season, I always thought we had enough to stay up.

Leaving the stadium tonight I'm no longer confident.

Clutching at straws, but we do always seem to play better against better sides, so hopefully the team can have a long look at themselves and start trying to redeem themselves by putting on a performance against Dorking on Saturday.

The Josh/Burch swap has happened on at least three occasions this season, and in all three occasions we were losing.
And guess what, on all occasions we have go on to lose.

Agree with all the above.
