Noticed quite a few leave before the final whistle.
They may wake up to a shock tomorrow.
Deserved that after the second half performance.
Would love us to be more confident at shooting though.
Why our prize centre forward never stepped up for a first 5 pens sums up our lack of confidence.
Yet, slams home a perfect penalty winner.

It was suggested to me prior to game 12th March a Wednesday. However as Ebbsfleet havent met Tonbridge yet and I cant find a date for that game Im taking the information with a pinch of salt.

The Kent FA have confirmed it to be at Gillingham and have set a current date for 12th March. However, they say the date is subject to change and if anything it's likely, considering the Ebbsfleet Tonbridge Semi Final doesn't have a date yet.

It will be nice to tick off a football league ground with Welling at least!

It should be played end of April, Gillingham on a Wednesday night is ridiculous

I agree Nige, but doesn't it come down to player contract/deals run out after the final game of the league campaign so it needs to be played for the teams final league game of the season?

Yep, the second half performance was much better. Fortunately, the referee grew wise to the Dover antics & was having none of it - even in time added on! Ultimately, it cost them the game but the final outcome was just about right.

Hopefully this will give our lads a much needed confidence boost in the league. We are right behind you boys. Rod Stringer & co. never stopped working from the touchline all night - right up to the last second. Rod is a fighter, he never gave up.

The KSC final was in mid-April last season and would have envisaged similar this season (pending Ebbsfleet v Tonbridge, of course).

Anyone for penalties? GET IN THERE!!

If the Wings... are United...

Agree Nigel, Gillingham on a Wednesday night just plays into the realm of Mickey Mouse Cup. I have never been to Priestfield and from what I am told it is not the nicest of league grounds to visit. My personal view is hold it at the ground of the lowest place team left in the competition. Last time we won I believe it was at PVR.

Interesting snippet from the rules. For the final the officials do not get paid but get a souvenir instead. Gillingham pin badge or scarf biggrin

I just think with our current league position, and obviously wanting to stay in NLS, it's a game that we could do without being played in March. I'm also wondering if when the game does go ahead, will it be worth Radio Wings covering the game

Should be played at Bromley or somewhere like that. Much more suitable.
