Never been before but its the farthest North you can travel on the underground. Anyone changing from Jubilee line to Metropolitan line Tfl say best place is Finchley Road. Remember unlike most underground lines the service to Chesham runs every 30 minutes. Miss the train its a 15 minute wait for the Amersham branch then a cab.

Think you can train it to Chalfont and Latimer from Marylebone and then switch to Metropolitan line -which might break up the long tube journey but doubt it saves any time given the Chesham met line frequency!

Finchley Road because the train arrives on the same island platform.
Baker Street, very good Wendals bakery within the station, if you want stuff to eat and drink on the train.
Moor Park, for a very nice cafe nearby, and a general nice surrounding prior to waiting for a Chesham train.
Harrow on the hill if you fancy a pint whilst waiting for a Chesham train.
Spent many years working for LU on this section of track.

Also got the metropolitan bar outside Chalfont and Latimer if you get an Amersham train and want to kill some time for a Chesham train.

Excellent suggestion but for old fart like me walking through stations for connections is a pain.

You dont. Both trains pull up on the same platform at C&L.
The met and Aylesbury line trains share the same track, hence the gap in train times.

Without me sounding too geeky, SE train to London Bridge, Thameslink to Farringdon, first met train heading out.
Farringdon Xover adjacent platforms.
Bakers at Baker, Beer at Harrow.
Cafe at Moor Pk.
Pub at C&L.
No more from me as I am reading this back and worrying about myself.

I believe for the more elderly fans who have London freedom pass it would be free all the way. Not sure about the 60+ oyster as someone told me it is only valid to Chalfont so I would check if it affects you.
