On Friday there really was some unnecessary abuse given out to some of the players. Some of the abuse was given by fans who have only been out of short trousers recently and have only followed Welling Utd for a relatively short time.  Ironically Dan Martin who has been one of our better performers this season took it from some fat drunken **** who probably couldnt see what happened on the pitch through his drunken haze anyway.  In my opinion a lot of these players are not to blame for our relegation. Rod Stringer put this squad together. He tried to upgrade it several times but basically made it worse. Lets face it its been coming for at least 3 or 4 seasons now. Relegation is a time to reset and let our new investors get things moving in an upward curve. Next week after the game. Lets show the players respect and dont abuse them.Win lose or draw.
