I take it we will join the Ryman League next season or did we sign a scrap of legally binding paper 40 years ago saying we will always compete in the southern league should be relegated

I believe since we left the old Southern League there has been a modicum of sense in the FA and leagues. It appears to be based on geography rather than history. Although saying that we are Welling United and anything could happen Northern Premier League here we come

Whilst sadly it doesn't affect The Wings my 'adopted'home team Dorchester Town have sneaked into the Southern Premier League play offs and face AFC Totton on Wednesday night. Having finished some 13 points and 3 places below them the heavily financially backed Totton(Charlie Austin being main example) start as favourites but you never know.....

We wont have the delights of Margate or Mersham both got knocked out last night as did Waltham Abbey and Felixstowe & Walton.
For the club finances I will be cheering on Cray Valley tonight as A2 united will bring more to PVR.

Both D*rtford & Dover come from behind to win their respective play off matches. Therefore, an instant return to NLS for one of these clubs. We could do the same... couldn't we?!
Home advantage for Ade Pennock but Dover will fancy their chances after defeating Billericay tonight.
I see Dorchester had a fun game v Totton 2 up in injury time , Totton score 3 , then Dorchester equalize in 15th minute of injury time WTF
Then Mr Austin scores the winner in extra time
Though Boring Wood v Dorking was just as bad with Dorking 3-1 after 83 minutes courtesy of two own goals by the same player only to lose 4-3 in 8th minute of injury time .... the winner from the guy who scored own goals
Think i will settle for auto promotion next season :)
I was at the Totton match v Dorchester and yes Dorch held a 2-0 lead until about the 70th minute. Dorch defender was then sent off Totton scored 3 times between the 90th and 101st minute including inevitably a dodgy penalty., Dorch equalised in 102nd! And Totton scored winner in last minute of extra time inevitably Charlie Austin. The 12 or so minutes added was due to clash of heads between 2 players.
Hell of a game!
