New entry at step 6 SCEFL Division 1. Pretty sure this is GB10 but the ground isnt upto SCEFL standard from what I see driving past. Anyone know if they are sharing for next season?

I guess that they expect to get it up to standard but I don't know how they have managed to skip going through the county leagues.

Exactly sentiment shared on Non League Matters forum both this one and SEDons should have started in the Kent League and worked their way up.

The SCEFL overall is still two clubs short of the forty clubs that they want over two leagues. It appears that the clubs who finished at the top of the Kent County League Premier Division are not eligible so offering a place to AFC Greenwich Borough makes more sense than them having to play at step seven or lower.

Whats to stop a team like Kent United who have floodlights changing their name to AFC KU and apply to join step 6 as a new club. Also reading that AFC GB are groundsharing at Holmesdale until they get Footcray Road completed. Seems unfair on the likes of Cuxton 91 who are using Maidstone this year and Minster playing at Margate so could have met SCEFL criteria.

Kent United are happy where they are. I don't know why Cuxton 91 and Minster haven't been promoted to bring the SCEFL up to 40 clubs over two leagues. Maybe they haven't applied.

Are Kent United doing a lot of work at their ground as accotding to NLM they are to share at Glebe next season?

Post on NLM seems to think Clapton Community want to go to Essex Senior League. If they get the appeal then SCEFL will be back to 18. I suppose irrespective of what SCEFL want it is upto the FA where they eventually put clubs and thats why some clubs get strange allocations.

SCEFL One will be down to 18. SCEFL Prem will still be 19. It's bonkers that Clapton Community are the only team on the North side of the river. It could make the Essex Senior division one top heavy though.

Just seen Clapton successfully appealed and league reduced.
