And despite the joker who just sent me a watsapp message I WILL NOT be flogging shirts outside the ground from my car. Club shop was due to open 9.45-11 on Saturday this will now be extended to 12 noon

My be the club should let season ticket holders in for free in the county cup games or half price
They can't for cup games as its a shared gate with the opposition.
However I think the decision to charge season ticket holders is disgraceful. It clearly states in the season ticket advert that all home pre-season ticket games are included. So all season ticket holders should get their money refunded for tonight at the earliest opportunity.
I love this club, but sometimes I have no idea what they are doing.

We all want to support the club as much as possible but I do feel that they have shot themselves in the foot on this one:-
1. Surely someone knew that the pitch was not playable yesterday in daylight hours so why was the announcement made so late when people had already made plans to go?
2. I understand that the previous groundsman was employed full time and has now left. Don't think he was here very long. Clearly whatever he was doing didn't work , particularly the area by the road end corner flag which has had to be returfed. Looking at the rest of the pitch from the side the centre circle seems to be in need of work and no doubt other places as well. I don't blame him for what he did , he was no doubt doing his best to get the pitch to where he had been asked. However did we do our due diligence on him as a groundsman and all that goes with it or just employ him on the basis that he can cut grass so he'll be fine?
3. On the basis of the returfing so far, a lot of the old pitch obviously came up for the new turf to be laid. As WUSA paid for the topsoil I'd like to know if this was used and where. Its a significant investment for a supporters association into something that has clearly failed at present.
I as much as anyone appreciates the whole effort that is being made to try and get the club going forward. It does stick in your throat though when you hear the phrases " we need to improve our communication" and "we've learnt from the past" as two phrases Ive heard recently and not for the first time where we unfortunately have fallen short
I hope we can move on from this situation and at least try and get the Millwall fixture at home as some form of pre match run out so at least the players know what to expect from the pitch.
From a supporters perspective the value of a season ticket is also somewhat diminished if no pre season friendlies take part
I'd imagine the management or squad are not very happy with the pitch situation either. Lee obviously has a way of playing that he wants to implement and that way is all very good on a 4g or decent turf surface.
Not so easy when the ball is bobbling about all over the place and that will show the first time we eventually play on it.

Your second point was pretty much on par with conversations I have had earlier with a few people.
Well, Jamison. The pitch at Stonebridge Rd isn't bobbling....
This is a complete miss match in levels.
Currently sat behind our keeper this 2nd half and defence look lost no matter what the level. We need another centre half, right back and left back Vaughan is certainly nowhere near good enough.
