A day and a half on and I'm still gutted we lost this game but playing 80+ minutes a man short ultimately proved too much and one bit of stupidity cost us the game.

Didn't see the first game but we more than matched them on Tuesday night. Add Paxman to that group and there's the makings of a decent step 3 side there. The two young centre halves were outstanding. The lads on loan from QPR and Wealdstone also impressed and I would get them both tied down for longer if at all possible. The forward players all ran their socks off and nobody threw the towel in and they all appeared to be playing for their manager.

Having said all that the time for wins is now! No more hard luck stories. No more self inflicted wounds. We need to start picking up some wins in the league and these next two home matches are crucial.
