I was really cheesed off with the group of Dirtford fans who thought it funny to abuse a Ramsgate fan who was obviously challenged. Banter is one thing but to insinuate fans are pexxxx or spasxxx is not acceptable in our club, especially when we are not only trying to encourage more families into the ground and have good relationships with Bexley Mind and other health charities and organisations. Not the clubs fault but security was out numbered by this group. Turns out some Dirtford fans have a beef with Ramsgate. I hope that if all three clubs are still in the same league next season board remembers this and increases security if our game does not clash with the black and whites home game. As a footnote speaking to some Ramsgate fans after they sometimes have the same problem with Margate yobs at their ground.

I wasn't too happy about the drum that they bought in with them. I don't suppose the neighbours were too happy either!.
No problem with drums - home or away fans. All for creating atmosphere and getting youngsters interested and following the team. Why are lots of welling fans upset about drums. Odd.

We had a drum last Saturday. As many know Im very anti drum unless Ginger Baker or Honey Lantree was bashing them. I was wrong and I will admit it. The drums on Saturday spured on our spectators almost to a level of an away game. If this happens again to that level I wont be sorry. However taking up Garys point about the neighbours. I took Smudge out to the grass opposite when the Ramsgate drum was at the park end. The noise did travel and the echo in front of the flats seemed louder than when I returned to ground.
