Well that was fun. That new centre forward is one of the unfittest laziest blokes to grace our club.
May just have well played with 10 men.

John must have put in 400% more effort, as he was continually running past him to try and win the ball back.

When you have players of the ability to be in the bottom end of the Istiman, playing out from the back is a non-starter.
We basically encouraged the opposition forward because there was so much time for them to group.
Couple that with the fact that you need very good personnel with the ability to pass and hold a ball, we have neither of these traits in this current crop.
Even when John scored you could see he was looking for a final pass initially.
The blame solely lies with both manager and directors.
To take a punt on giving him a two year deal, I would had some serious caveats worded in that contract.
As it stands, we are an absolute mess and just cannot see where the next win is going to come from.

The lowest of the low tonight. This football club is in free fall and there seems to be no parachute in sight.  Guttening no

Anyone know any dodgy Saudi princes / C-Tier Hollywood Stars that want to invest in a club?

Time to go Lee. What a joke of a manager.! Bring back Rod. He knew how to get players going, unlike this clown.

I did not go last night and all I have to go on is posts on here, x and of course Marks excellent match reports. I had high hopes in our new manager, remembering how both Addy and Daisy came here with no managerial experience I was looking for third time lucky. Looks like I was wrong and I admit it. This season, so far, it has been a slap in the face to our once proud Conference club and I cannot see us returning there in my lifetime. As some of you know I do some ground hopping to lower league clubs and I am afraid I am seeing more passion and entertainment in steps 5 and 6 than at PVR. Monday last week I visited Kennington at Ashfords ground step 5 same league as Erith and Belvedere. Getting a cuppa I was engaged by people there and in conversation mentioned our club and performance. I just got a laugh and was told what do you expect you have Lee Martin. I am sorry to say but it is time to do the decent thing and go rather than face the continued loss of faith by us the fans.

I'm still waiting with baited breath for the post match interview. Referee trouble last night, didn't get the rub of the green etc etc?

My next match will be the KSC (assuming no replay from the FAT) and I will judge the team then.

SVM Dave - I've sent my pink shirt money over today

Unfortunately Olly was not able to make last nights game and Nigel is out with an injury, so nothing was filmed.

Thanks Mick, no replays in FAT believe it goes strait to penalties.

Tuesday nights display was probably the worst performance this season, to see Lee Martin on the bench alone at the end of the game teary eyed I really expected him to be gone by Saturday, even on hes own accord. This appointment like we all feared has been a disaster, why on earth youd appoint a 38 year old novice for a club like welling who shouldve been looking to come straight back up Ill never know. Id like to think that a loss on Saturday would surely be the final nail in the coffin but worryingly enough i doubt it, Id personally like to see Rod Stringer or Steve King come back at this moment in timeI dont think anyone could do any worse than current form
