Hopefully, there will be sufficient players available to form a team.

40 minutes in and two-nil down against lower opponents... Surely not the same Wings from Saturday?

Dont read too much into this one. I always had this down as a decent friendly that gave Rod a chance to get a better look.
No injuries and would be handy if we could get a friendly in for Saturday.
One cup I couldnt care less about in all honesty.
Wouldnt mind their groundsman though.

Bit of an over reaction on twitter imo. The gk prob doesn't start many more and rod will work out the defence needs tightening up. Can't expect us to be champions when he's had 4 days and no training or a chance to have a full assessment of backroom, squad etc. Plus he might not be the man appointed. Hopefully they make a decision soon.

Agree about giving Rod a chance to look at players. As much as its nice to get silverware the most important thing is to ensure players are fit and not injured.

yes fantastic pitch would be nice to have their groundsman except we did and he left and Howard had to spend another fortune on getting the pitch to what it is now.

Hopefully rod can get some of hes own players in asap as its quite we need to upgrade a few. The goalkeeper Freddie Norman whos now second choice is no where near it, Simmons needs to be moved on, Christian Scott dont look great, EZE and AWB dont fill you with much confidence. I understand theres budget issues and its easier said than done bringing in better players but hopefully rod can sort it.

On to Ramsgate next week!
