Sadly Matt Carter passed away this morning. 
Matt was a former treasurer of WUSA and a friend to many. May he Rest In Peace.

He was also an athlete with Bexley Borough Athletics Club. Matt had been ill for some time. I had many great laughs growing up with him. Many wings fans will miss him greatly.

I am so sorry to read this.

My memories of Matt are from the mid 80s and the season we won the Southern League in 1985-86.

One particular memory is an away game against Bedworth United when I think he missed the train, but definitely turned up late, very noisy and big smile on his face.

Rest In Peace Matt.
