As some of us would be coming a fair old distance (like last Saturday!), is there much evidence thus far to support the pitch being playable? If temperatures will hit zero tonight with rain, it seems wise to ask.
This was one of those - Maggie Thatcher, Spike Milligan, Peter Sellars, Vera Lynn and George Michael games, your boys took one hell of a beating at PVR today. Thank you for the three points, we need them! As for the constructive football on show.... can only say we achieved the minimum requirement, a win, otherwise I'm still waiting. Find it hard to understand John not starting.
Well done to the lads yesterday. Wasn't the best game to watch but we got the important three points. Good to see Azeez back and he showed some strength u front. Unfortunate that he got injured. John done well when he came on and is always a threat with his pace. Lekan showed very good leadership in defence and made some very important interceptions. He was my MOM. Good to see him score too. The new keeper showed some promise too. Overall very happy with the points and good to see us back playing some football after what seems like a very long time. The attendance must be one of the lowest we have had for a league game on a Saturday for quite sometime. I cant recall off hand a lower attendance, though I am sure there have been.
