Invicta fan here in peace.

I notice your Radio Wings will not be providing live commentary of this game.

However our unofficial Invicta commentary team will be providing live match commentary: seasiders-radio-folkestone-invicta.mixlr.com/events/4820165
They are fairly unbiased (well, Charlie is. Ade can have a rant about Dover throughout), and the commentary is of reasonable quality. Best of all, it's free!

I occasionally sponsor them via my website www.cheritonroad.co.uk/ (history of the Folkestone football ground) - take a peek & all feedback on the site content welcome. I'm hopefully sponsoring Seasiders Radio on Saturday.

Safe travels to all making the trip on Saturday.

Tin hats on. I won't even be looking for the result of this one... not long to the start of the cricket season anyway?! #cricketscoreboard

Folkestone 1 up at half time. I brought a sofa with me to hide behind but don't think Welling have disgraced themselves so far... This is my first game of the season so I've no idea how bad it might have been before now...

No problem. You guys get to hear the game, Seasiders Radio gets more listeners, & my website gets more hits (pretty please ;) ). Everyone wins.

Sounded pretty poor today. Wasn't there, but the lack of updates from the Social Media Admin was pretty damning to be honest.

Got to win vs Cray Valley now.

Actually fought quite hard. Players should hold their heads up high and carry that performance into Tuesday, just with hopefully better end product. Cannot make judgements based off the scorecard...

It was obviously better than Hashtag, so they decided to bring a slightly better quality of play to a vastly better side. But Folkestone could have done more, I suspect.

Lets be honest, things are looking absolutely dire and if Tuesday and next week with Carshalton arent won, its finished. And the club will find a return to Isthmian Premier really hard, given the natural drop off then in sponsorship value, gates and such.

At this stage of the season we need points. I get today was a free hit, but we have 15 games left now. I would have rather us played absolutely shocking and won like somewhat against Wingate than lose playing well.

Next week however will be the real test.

Another game that could have gone on forever, with the same outcome.
Positive, got the HS1 back before 5pm.
Negative, could have stayed at home and saved a few quid.

If you genuinely expected us to go to Folkestone who have lost one (1) game this season and beat them, you need to start thinking. Next week is a big week and we clearly used this game as a stepping stone. 0 disappointment from this result, we never looked out of it, just need to get that final blow sorted, which I am sure we will manage at a descending Cray.

From the low of Hashtag we have really bounced back, and I have faith we will push this forward.

Lucky we never took that degree of optimism to Yeovil last season.
