The clubs done a blinding job with the queues to get in the ground. Amateur hour doesnt even come close. This club is a laughing stock under current management.

Cant understand why people leave it so late in attempting to enter a football ground. Personally I get to a ground at least 45 minutes prior to kick off. Even did this last Wednesday when I hopped and the crowd was 14 people.

Unfortunately you cant sit back for the last half hour and expect to not concede. Azeez has had his day, lets be honest. Shocking first half header, ability to win the ball no longer, caught offside far too often and spends more time on the ground than on his feet. Seems like a decent fella, but as most will say, who else is there? That new bloke that came on certainly isnt the answer.
We rode our luck against Carshalton and got the result, today we never.
Shame really as the first half performance was as good as anything I have witnessed all season.
When Troy got substituted in the 75th, it was obvious our game plan was a draw, and I think that approach was a poor managerial decision.

Agreed, why the season ticket turnstile couldnt accept all is a head scratcher

How do you think getting there at 2.30 is too late?

The only people that ever defend this club are the people that have their own personal roles that they want to protect. everyone else can see this club for what it is. Objectively its a complete mess that is heading for oblivion
An absolute suckerpunch at the end. That was so tough to swallow, maybe even more than some of the heavy defeats Dartford have handed us in recent years. A lot of fight and battle from the lads, but at the end of the day if you sit back in the 2nd half every game like that, eventually you are going to be punished by a side who just has a bit of bite about them. Against Carshalton or St Albans it can work with a bit of luck as we saw in the last few games, but against Dartford with a much better attack it was almost inevitable they would find a way through us.
I have to add however to hold out for over 94 mins against a team fighting for playoffs on that pitch was superb. Not many would have expected us to hold out for that long, so credit to Ryan and the lads for giving such a strong defensive display without the ball.
Our chances of staying up now is purely dependent on if we can get top 3 form in March. The games are so winnable, Cray Valley, Potters Bar (2) and also Whitehawk as well. That should net us minimum 12 points if we perform well, but looking at the display there I am not totally convinced we can do it. There is a good feel about the defense, but the attack has to hold the ball up better. When we held it up or got a 2nd ball we looked like a threat, look at Jack's 1 on 1 that nearly resulted in a goal.
Got to win Tuesday, and hopefully get a few goals for GD sake.
We could have played until this time tomorrow and still not have scored. We create very little going forward and unless we can change this we are going down again.
If you play with fire many times then you end up getting burnt ...
First half today we were competitive once again although it was a pretty poor spectacle of a football match from both sides. Second half it was an all too familiar story. Firstly we are playing uphill in the second half (AGAIN), we sit in our own half and concede possession and territory (AGAIN), we make like for like substitutions which actually make us weaker rather than stronger (AGAIN). Against St Albans we got away with it, against Carshalton we got away with it, today we did not! I feel desperately sorry for our keeper and back four who all played well individually and collectively (the Luton lad was excellent) but they get absolutely zero help from most of the people in front of them. We have clearly offloaded the wrong centre forward (he scored again today by the way....)
I make that 16 home league games now and we have failed to score in 9 or those including three of the last four. Their keeper today had to make ONE save all game. I don't think that's a recipe for survival. In fact I am seriously wondering exactly how hard we are trying to stay up because, on the evidence of what I'm watching on a Saturday afternoon lately, there doesn't appear to be a concerted effort to avoid relegation...

We were much better in the first half and actually closed Dartford down. Second half and just like in the Carshalton game and the whole of the St Albans game we sat off and defended.
We need to change our philosophy slightly on Tuesday and go and beat Cray. We then have a run of other games that are winnable.

Tough to concede so late on. Our defence were very good today but if you invite pressure you get pressure. The problem was nothing in midfield or up top to hold the ball up and give our defence chance to breathe. Second half was constant backs against the wall. You can't win games like that.
