Ayman El-Mogharbel played for Larkfield and New Hythe yesterday. I'm not sure that parachuting step 3 players in is fair to their regular players who missed out. Marcel Barrington and Danny Waldren were also involved.

I agree, there was a post on NLM forum today about dual registration and clubs calling players back for play off games. Fair system would be players need to have played at least 2 games for club within past 3 months. On the flip side playing someone who is not gelled with the rest of the squad could upset the balance of play.
Another ex Wing Slav Huk did well for AFC Whyteleafe last night in Istmian SE last night.
Both Forest Hill Park and Soul Tower Hamlets did it last year. It's nothing new, could be argued that its against the spirit and integrity of the league, but now one really cares ...

Forest Hill Park had a lot of players on dual registration with AFC Whyteleafe so they actually played for both teams (whose managers are brothers) during the season. VCD bought players in for the play-offs as well, and there were probably many other examples in different step 5 and 6 leagues throughout the country.

Agree about it being against the spirit but a fair number of posters on NLM are not overjoyed with it. Makes me wonder how we would feel if we get to playoff final next season and the opposition field some step 1 players.
Looking at the Non League Matters Forum clubs in the other leagues play offs are doing it as well so every club has a choice. Some people are saying that the dual-registration rules need to be looked at.

Dont know if you have seen latest post on there but its being suggested Step 5 Windsor and Eton fielded 6 players today from Step 3 Bracknell Town. Surprised me but when I saw W and E against British Airways recently they looked pretty strong.
Edit
Turns out 2 from Bracknell 1 from Hayes and Yeading and 1 from elsewhere.
