Does anyone know what is happening with this? With little time before it all kicks off it has little to no advertisement and being priced at at hefty £27 a game for the cheapest, I can't see it being very popular!

This was a hire by the club to a third party. From what I hear the third party has pulled out.

Wasn't it that the club has prioritised a total re-do of the pitch, meaning a garden party on it won't work?

Sounds like a scam to me. Hopefully everyone who has paid gets their money back.

They are still selling tickets though, or at least the website is still active with ticket purchasing facilities. Anyway that's cleared that up, cheers.

We seem to have a Mistic Meg in the media team. I hope their statement "With England making it to the semi-finals" in the latest official web site World Cup entry, is an omen of things to come. We can only live in hopes!
