First of all, a big thank you to the team who have let me loose on the Programme. I will keep going with it as long as I can, but its worth saying this is a job that really ought to be going to a design and branding whizz perhaps as we move ahead. That said, for now, I think it's important for us to have that very tangible thing for collectors, fans, opposition directors and such.
Clearly, this is not going to be the most swanky, most swish programme. I say that with no expectation of ego massage on Saturday - I will get it a lot better for Ramsgate, and you have my commitment to that. I would also like to edit a lot more fan content, so if you have something Welling, football or otherwise related to our sport, or something you have done for the community like a sponsored event, volunteering or whatever please send it in. I would really like this magazine to have the same community spirit and engagement as the new supporters group, and it will definitely become more enjoyable as time goes on.
I will be selling the programmes just inside the turnstiles on Saturday, and they will be £3 each. As many of you can use cash, please do. If you absolutely need to pay by card we will make arrangements. As is on the back, comments and suggestions are welcome. Every copy will mean a bit more money for the club during what will hopefully be a really great season so roll up, get one, and enjoy.
