Think I am right in saying we enter on 5th September and the draw is tomorrow. Hopefully we get a decent tie at home to start a badly needed cup run. Failing that a new club away where our experts can sample the local ale before the game.

Yes we should see who we get in the FA Hub during the afternoon. Someone on Twitter is suggesting we should get an away day to Jersey. Not so sure about that, but Whitstable would be my choice!

From a travelling point of view I would hate Jersey Bulls away. Would have been a great fixture for a league game but with less than 2 weeks notice I doubt it would be easy to get cheap flights and hotel.

I'd rather not be at the airport and having to try and find a beer somewhere nearby. Faversham will do!

If its Faversham expect a VERY busy day
That weekend is also the Faversham Hop Festival
so we normally get about 3-4 thousand extra people in the town

A very boozy day, if you like unfiltered/cloudy beers i can recommend The Bank
Its in the town centre and sell Time and Tide beers
Other than that there are plenty of pubs/outlets selling Shepherd Neame beers and a variety of others

Got to be fairly pleased with the draw.

Bedfont are Step 5 (not to be confused with Bedfont Sports) and Faversham are Step 4.

Their replay is at Faversham tomorrow night.

Faversham Town are a Step 4 club and Faversham Strike Force are a Step 5 club.

Bedfont Sports are also a Step 4 club and Bedfont are a Step 5 club.

If we were to play Bedfont, we wouldn't get lost as the grounds are right next to each other.

Faversham is usually the easier journey.

Went there a few years back on a special train from Kensington Olympia. Organised by Shepherd Neame Brewery. Supposed to be a steam train but they found a crack in the boiler so subsititued a heritage diesel. Great day out with lots going on including live music and morris dancers all over the place. I was lucky the trip was a late birthday from friends so I didnt have to pay the fare. Highly recomended. Only drawback I can see is parking as Faversham Towns car park got full when I saw them play Jersey Bulls and the Bulls only had about 5 fans there.

The good old days. There was a change a little while back and they started going steam from London, via Redhill and Tonbridge, then Dover and Canterbury East. They then went empty to Kemsley, a Class 33 took the whole lot to somewhere like Hoo, and they did water and coal before you then got picked up at Faversham, went round Ramsgate and Canterbury West, and up via Sevenoaks / Bromley / Herne Hill. It wasn't too shabby, and it got better when they made it two 33s instead so no coal-powered nonsense on the front!

Baz at the Bar might know this

If Faversham win tonight is it possible the Kent Police could demand the fixture be played on the Friday to avoid the Hop Festival? Just a thought.
