A friend has watched Faversham this season and said they are a decent and strong side. If they kept most of their side from last season then I agree having seen them against Jersey Bulls. Hopefully we have a large contingent to get behind our team tomorrow.

Just read Faversham preview on their website. For some reason they have said we are step 4 rather than step 3. Also showing adult admission as £12 although our website shows £10. Thankfully being an old gxx the £6 concession is same on both sites.

Sadly another late burst of energy from an opponent, at a time when we were a bit lacklustre, and an inevitable result. Warning signs were there well before their goal.

Now the players, who could have had a rest on Tuesday and gone into Saturday absolutely full of beans are going to have to play again.

As much as wed all like a cup run, we dont need replays! With 7 matches already scheduled for October its going to be a real test of fitness and resilience. we also need to maintain a large squad as injuries and suspensions will be a factor.

And your going to have to knock out a programme?

We actually got away with it yesterday as Faversham missed a good chance to 'nick it' 2-1 during the 6 minutes added time.

Having said that, neither side played well so a draw was about the right result.

Like Faversham, we have an excellent home record and are capable of progressing to the next round.

Big away support from the Welling faithful, as usual. Let's get down to PVR on Tuesday night & cheer the lads on!

If the Wings... are United...

Haven't been asked to make one, and it's not a requirement. Not sure how much you can fill a booklet like that with such little time to be fair - it would be quite thin.

Could just release a small one online for free. Never mind, I look forward to the Wingate episode. I've enjoyed reading them this year, they have had a fanzine vibe to them.
