Hard fought win tonight.
Great last minute save, to which the build up looked clearly offside to me.
Seems like a few times offside is called wrong.
Anyway, quite a fortress becoming at PVR.
Leatherhead not losing an away game in 23.
Like to see our No19 winger get a start against Carshalton

nice to see the new CF get a goal.

He worked very hard tonight. As for his counterpart, rather start with one up front than carry him.

How on earth he missed that sitter earlier in the game?

Thing is, that aint the first time.

Happy.

Brilliant character from the lads to hold on. I don't like us going up the hill second half.

Great to see us beat Leatherhead after they slaughtered us at their place early on in the season.

We also keep our 'win every game at home' tag, along with the don't dare to draw scenario.

Well done lads. Keep it going Maxy!

If the Wings... are United...

Can't do much about it if we lose the toss.

We made that so difficult for ourselves in the second half.

How we didn't go in 3-0 up in the first half, I think we can only imagine. The open goal and the miss sort of summed up the night for me - chances not taken.

But then, to go into the second half and to just sit back with only a one goal advantage, inviting all of that pressure, crosses coming in, free kicks getting given away (albeit that referee was a bit garbage). Foley is the only reason we kept those three points.

I think we're in danger of taking this home form for granted. Yes we weren't at our fluent best yesterday but we could easily have been 3 up inside 20 minutes with a bit of luck. We defended well (without our captain) and our keeper has made one excellent save in injury time. If we had been told towards the end of last season that we would take 40 points out of a possible 42 from our next fourteen home games we would all have had a good laugh at that!! Yesterday we beat a team that hadn't lost an away league game since April 2025 (yes most of those were at Step 4 but that is still a hell of a record)

Yes we need to improve our away form and I'm sure the management team are well aware of that. This home form won't last for ever and we're not going to smash teams at PVR week in week out. Let's enjoy it while it lasts.

It's just a shame that we're not getting more bums on seats at home because Maxwell and his team can't do much more can they...,! Let's hope the CEO and others are doing something about that...

Up the Wings!
