Whatever we may think of the new players we have to remember that we have to have a SQUAD and these players will be part of that

I would think (hopefully) that there are further signings on the way including another striker - remember where we got keds from - Yes the Kent League

Who is the say that there are not more of those type players at that level

I would rather pick up really good youngsters than always going for the prima donna type high wages - no effort players

I am afraid that our league is as greedy as the Premiership now - it is money, money , money and it is irrelevent as to where they play

Loyalty - forget it!!

Yes i would like the calibre of players that Lewes have but teams such as that sometimes find that they have a group of individuals and not a 'team'

Look at last years table and you will find some 'teams' that finished above us

Lets wait and see and for ****s sake remember that whoever it is when they pull on the red shirt then they are 'our' team

Sorry, hang on

Did well financially last year, very well! Said will go for it next season. Lost a player to a lower league club. Miss out on loads of players in pre season. And then sign 3 lower league players (2 leagues lower!!) whho have failed at this level.

Theres is a big difference in keds and boateng/vines

Back the club Harvey but please be realistic in assessing the situation. Many fans are posting wtf is going on with the team. HOPEFULLY Ade will bring some quality in, but his only signings are cast offs who have failed at this level.

Are they the signings of a Club GOING for it? Like i said last year, you dont say ooooh top half is great when you lead the division. We did and we siad we will "Give it a right go" next(this) season.

My post isnt abusive , i believe it to be factual.

Joe Vines has not failed anywhere.  His move from Lewes was because of work/football commitments clashing.  He does not drive so the journey was awkward.   Wait until you see him play and then pass judgement.  You might be pleasantly surprised.

Nice one Cook, lets hope he does well for us. Maybe i was a bit hasty. But after a great first half of the season, we have signed lower league players and lost players to lower league clubs ourselves. Pennock needs to show us what hes made of and bring in at least 3 conference south top half standard players.

heres 80k from the cup last year, go and sign a Conference/ ex league striker. or bring in 2 or 3 quality players. Making excuses about missing signings is poor. We have targeted players from 2 leagues below, and frankly thats an absolute joke for a club "going for it this season".

PS dont worry Ade will bring in one or two recognised players now the charlton games been announced. But we never brought any new players in last year without releasing players and the 80k wasnt delved into. Its vanished The club budgets to turn over / gold bond/ advertising that why they never buy any players or bring in new players when we have injuries or run a stiffs side.

Cynical?? Maybe but ive seen it over the years. Id like someone to tell me we did well and spent any money they said they would go for itsince last xmas. If what happened second half of season was reasonable and if any one believed the club when they said they are going for it this season.

The money is there to challenge or its somewhere else. PS dont be surprised if a few current Wings players leave before the start of the season.
