Crawley Town's fate is set to be decided on Friday when a creditors committee decides whether to accept an offer for the Conference club.
If the committee votes against accepting the bid, the club will fold, reports BBC Southern Counties Radio.
Crawley were put into administration in June with debts of almost 」1.4m and subsequently put up for sale.
The only bid came from former owners the Majeed brothers, who led the club into administration.
According to BBC Southern Counties Radio, the Inland Revenue is likely to be opposed to any involvement from the Majeeds.
Apparently the most likely bidder (the former owner of Bishop's Stortford) has pulled out because the club has been running at a loss for the last 10 years (£650,000 last year), and is expected to make another loss of at least £350,000 over the next 12 months
Crawley aren't the first and certainly won't be the last. There has to be a lesson in there.
I believe half of the debt is that being claimed by the Majeeds, notwithstanding other issues, a case of whatta de mistaka to maka lets getta backa whata we can.

Selling a Club which is losing money faster than a Thames Water main is hardly prostitution where you performs sexual acts in return for money or you offer your skills or talents, etc for unworthy ends.
"the boy with the monkey head" is lost on me I'm afraid.
