Sorry to see the history of the club is years out of date, and posted in the present ...
The Wings are now playing in their 41st year since formation in 1963. An incredible journey in those years has seen a rise from an under-15 Sunday youth team to the heights of the Football Conference where they remained for a remarkable 14 years. History has proved that this is one of the most astonishing footballing journeys of the modern era.
The Wings are now in their first season back in the Nationwide Conference South following that 14-year spell in the original Conference between 1986-2000. Originally formed in 1963 with just one youth side playing in local league football, the club expanded its youth system before embarking upon a period of Saturday soccer in the London Spartan League. Membership of the Athenian League and finally the Southern League (South) entailed.
Thats just poor and lazy! cut and paste out of date tosh
Also , i liked this from James' report...
Weston were unlucky not to have been awarded a penalty 20 minutes into the second period. A mistake from Chris Moore allowed the Seagulls to cross the ball for Craig Loxton who seemed to have been pulled down by substitute Paul Vines. Nevertheless the referee waved the play on, much to the annoyance of Weston’s boss Frank Gregan.

I think you will find that our official site is not the only one to have a history which has not been updated for several years. The ideal is to update the history each closed season but if you aren't to do this the simple answer is not to use the phrase x years ago or anything which dates the time of writing thereby highlighting that the history is out of date. It may not be perfection but is it worth drawing the attention of the world and his wife to?
As far as using the wrong christian name in the match report goes perhaps James has Cook's electioneering ringing in his ears. At least we have a match report and we haven't had to wait until midweek for it to be published.
We all know from your postings that you and James are not bosom buddies and I have no intention of stirring those waters but for better or worse he is the official site webmaster. Would it not have been better to have emailed him with your comments as I and I'm sure others have in the past.
I'm not saying that there should be no criticism of the website but I am saying that in my opinion the points you made, more especially the error in the christian name which was a simple error, would be better dealt with by a quick email rather than embarrassing James by drawing everyone's attention to it.
I would suggest that the main issue for any official website is that club news has to be up to date and if, for example, we regularly get our information from the press or other clubs' websites I would fully expect there to be criticism on the forum, indeed I would and have in the past been one of those posting that criticism.

First Class James - the site is looking pretty impressive.
Posting a brief summary within a few hours pending the full match report is the sort of thing which distinguishes between an ordinary site and a good one.
A suggestion for the future would be to include some of the PVR legends like Abbo (not just a PVR legend but a Non League Legend), Inchy, Ransome, Copes, and of course John Bartley in the past players section.
