The following are taking part in the Good Pub Guide’s 25th anniversary celebrations. Participating boozers will be slashing the price of beer to 1982 levels and some are selling cheap food too.
THE WHEATSHEAF AT BOUGH BEECH, Kent – Monday 25 - Thursday 28 September Every evening between the hours of 7.30 – 8.30pm beer will be served at only 85p a pint!
Scampi, sausage or chicken & chips in a basket will be served at only £2. A celebration lunch will also be available between 12.30 - 1.30pm on Thursday 28 September. With special thanks to Westerham Brewery, Biddenden Cider, Waverly TBS, Enterprise Inns, Shepard Neme and Terry Allman, local butcher in Edenbridge.
There will be a free prize draw every evening for a bottle of champagne and a free copy of The Good Pub Guide.

OLDE MITRE, Ely Place ECI – Thursday 28 September From 6.00pm celebrations begin with 62p a pint.
