The Kent and London County Under 16 sides meet this Sunday.

The Kent side has 4 Welling players in its squad, George Mosedale, Rob Carter, Jamie Clow, and Ola Ayoola.

The London side also has 4 Welling players in its squad, Taser Hassan, Louie Dean, Jimmy Curtis and Alex Bentley. A fifth player, Adam Highstead, has been named as a standby.

I would like to congratulate all of the boys on their selection and wish them all the very best of luck.

Bruno, it's Louis, but said how you've spelt it

I will be going down there tonight to watch, London FA v's (I forgot ), see how Louis and the others get on. I'll write up a match report of the game later on tonight.

Anyone wishing to go, the game is being held at Greenwich Borough FC, the ground is situated opposite McDonalds, Yorkshire Grey, Eltham.

Bruno, will you be going tonight or you got other plans?

I was under the impression that the match was on Sunday and that is what mitoo still has as the date. Are you sure its tonight?

I was in contact with Gary Lisney about the match last Monday when I picked up that it was on and having given me the information about the players I did send him a copy of what I had written and was holding till this week to post. Gary hasn't been in touch since, hence my bewilderment at your posting.

I will not be there whichever day it is as I have commitments tonight and on Sunday I will be at the U18's match at Cray Valley.

I look forward to your reading your match report - in view of Wellings equal involvement in both squads perhaps a draw will be the best result.

Game is now off due to heavy rain and that Greenwich Borough don't want the pitch cut up

Oh well another night in I suppose...

Gents,

London are playing Kent THIS coming sunday.

London did have a game scheduled for last night which was cancelled due to the waterlogged pitch.

Hope that clarifies everything..

Bruno,

Thanks for the post. I'm sure the players appreciate some coverage..

Kind Regards,

Gary Lisney

Thanks for the clarification Gary. I began to think I was losing it.

What I forgot was to check where the game was being played. Hope if its VCD again that the pitch isn't ad waterlogged as it got last Sunday.
