I have been approached by the BBC and we are in discussions to bring a live commentary service to which the bbc will have access to to broadcast the stream or to edit and play highlights during their match day shows. We will still have the current live commentarys streamed via the internet to Supporters at home/unable to make a game.
Discussions are at an early stage, the beeb are keen to help and move things forward. Ive said there may be an issue with home games but the beeb are aware that we could do away games only. They will be in contact with Graham at the Club to see how they can assist (An isdn line is a possible at the ground). Good news and a step forward for Radio Wings

Technically we are able to start straight away, its down to the club now it seems as the beeb are keen to see if they can help., or if its feasable for the bbc to do.

Great news JgFc - I'm really pleased that your persistence, despite the obstacles, looks like paying off and that Welling United may be at the forefront of fan based match reporting on the Beeb. What an opportunity to raise the profile of the club.
