The Bexley Extra reports that the first actual bid has come in for Keds. Grays made an offer of £10,000 which was rejected and described by Aide as 'laughable'.
There has been lots of interest in Keds with Aide having spoken to numerous chairmen and managers in the last month and Keds has been kept in the loop. Aide has for the first time revealed that he expects Keds to leave before the end of the transfer window in January and that he has been working hard to try and find a possible replacement.
The report also says that Aide has "vowed that other changes will be made to his squad this week on the back of their defeat at Havant last Saturday." Who's for the order of the boot or, knowing our splendid club news service, has already shut the door behind them on the way out?

If geoff horsefield was worth mega dosh then keds is worth more.
Minumum 50k plus a sell on of 20% plus! BUT the money has to go on the team surely, or will more past debts be brought out? If finnan was worth 100k plus (and we got that) then keds will go for the right price. Lets hope he goes out with a bang and scores sackloads.
Lets hope we replace him with a conference standard striker. Who will get 20 a year. No disrespect but NOT Boothy or a lower league player.
Unless we can rebuild and IMPROVE the team why sell him. Glad to see Adie say 10k is laughable.
My feeling is he will go for 50k ish plus a sell on to a league club. Hes only very young and will only get better. I hope the club really hold out and get the best deal. Its good that a few clubs are sniffing, that means we can hold out and not risk the deal crashing for Danny who deserves a crack at the league. And if it dont work out we should have first option on him!

The only named club outside of Gray's and Brentford is Leyton Orient.
I agree that based on the Steve Finnan deal, which was done 11 years ago and on which Barry Fry made £200K gross profit in just over a year, we should be looking for at least £50K.
