Just reading on the BexleyTimes site that Pennock has appealed against the red card against Cambridge:
"Welling have already appealed against the red card and will discover later this week whether the initial decision will be overturned.
Pennock said: "I don't think it was a sending off and said as much to the referee at half-time. He has agreed to look at the video again and we are waiting to hear his verdict."
23rd the date Lawrie's suspension is due to start is only 3 days away.
Does anyone know what happened with the appeal?
Have we got permission to play him pending the appeal?
I've seen nothing on the official website or the local press and the only reference on the FA site still shows it as a pending suspension and I can find no reference to the appeal.
