STRIKER Danny Kedwell has insisted he is in no rush to leave Welling during the January transfer window.
Kedwell, who has scored 17 goals so far this season, is being tracked by several League 1 and League 2 sides while Conference outfit Grays have had two bids rejected.
Wings boss Adrian Pennock expects Kedwell to leave next month but the striker has vowed not to rush into any move.
Kedwell said: "I'm not going to go to the first club that comes in for me. I'm just going to wait and see, I'm sure the club will do what is right for me.
"If I'm here at the end of the season then I'll be happy, if something else happens then we'll have to see. I'm just going to concentrate on my football as I can't control what other clubs want to do."
Kedwell also delivered a snub to Grays by insisting that he would rather move to a club in the Football League than join the Nationwide Conference outfit.
"I'd rather play in the Football League," he stated. "It's not all about money, if I do move then I want to play at as high a level as possible."
Kedwell, who had a pre-season trial at League 1 Brentford, insisted that he is enjoying his football at Park View Road.
"I like it here and I'm playing the best football of my career," Kedwell said. "My confidence has been high since the start of last season and it's just gone from there.
"I've not really thought about what might happen, once I'm on the pitch I forget about it."

BKK I have to disagree with your headline. Keds has NOT pledged his future to Wings - what he has said is that he will not be rushed into a move from PVR where he is happy and if that means that he is still at PVR at the end of the season he will not be unhappy. Pledging his future would mean saying he is not moving on and signing an extended contract.
Before anyone gets up in the air about what I've said let me make it clear that I have total respect for Keds who has always done the right thing by the club. He is however the subject of interest from League Clubs and with his abilities quite rightly has the ambition to play at a higher level which means that means his days at PVR are numbered. He has been well advised and knows that he has to concern himself with the whole package on offer and that does not necessarily equate to who offers him the most pound notes. It is very refreshing to see such an attitude in football these days - a player playing for his love of the game and the shirt he dons rather than megabucks. I hope he gets the best of both worlds at the end of the day.

Yep, Danny saying hes happy and not rushing to the first club. He knows they are after him. Danny also has an agent now and hes being advised, The longer hes here the better for us and his words are good to hear. He will always be remebered fondly and lets hope he keeps smashing in the goals for us to get nearer the conference while he is here.
