I'm sure it was his. Not a great performance invited a limited Billericay team to come onto us and could have paid the price. But if we can win ugly I'll take that over lovely football and not winning at this point of the season

Second goal could easily have been Rosscoe's/AA's/own goal. rosscoe shot from the edge of the area into a crowded box and it either hit one of Acheampong or the defender and went in the opposite corner. Not sure if it was going in or not

 

Not the best of performances but another 3 points on the board means I couldn't care less. MASSIVE game at Bath on Tuesday with Salisbury not playing

You dont win the game by playing pretty football on a pitch that had standing water in several places. You win it by being organised, working your nuts off and giving everything. Our players did the job. Still cant believe they played that match, but credit to the two managers, the ref and the players of both sides for getting on with it.

Estimates of 200 Wings fans there today, is a sensational turn out given the weather and doubts about the game being on and with 3 away games this week.

Interviews up with Jamie Day and Man of the Match Fraser Franks will be up late tonight. There will be some highlights over the next few days but will be briefer than usual owing to the weather, obstructed views and frozen fingers.

Great result summed up like this... "When the going gets tough... you show how big your bollocks are.... ours are huge"

Well most people behind the goal were singing Rosco Lafayette he scores when he wants and ive seen the video, If Ant had claimed it i would have said its possibly Ants but no video proof to over turn Roscos goal, as he said its Ross' goal i think it is Ross's goal. The ball also went in the middle of the goal so if it did take a deflection its questionable itchanged direction a great deal?

Never heard a home crowd whinge as much since Burton Albion. Rosco got slammed with the arm in his face in front of what must be their main stand, they screamed at him for a good 40 seconds and ordered the ref to book him for simulation. Never mind booking their 5 or worse for the slam to the face? Ref told Ross to get up. Decent ref on the whole and never bowed to the home crowds non stop moaning. Even their steward in the main stand was going mental at our players and one guy sitting next to the steward was swearing at and calling our players allsorts, to which the steward did nothing.

Couldnt watch that long ball hoof all season or listen to the 90 minutes of swearing and moaning all game.

The lads showed real character to grind out a good result on a dreadful pitch.

Fraser voted mom,and yes he played very well and scored a classy goal, I made a point of watching Jake Gallagher and his work rate was fantastic.

Roscoe puts in a huge amount of work as well. No wonder he's tired when he's always going back to help out the defence. Superb effort all round I though.

 Yes Andrew,Roscoe tracked back to help Jack in defence and then got forward to try and hold the ball in attack, I agree a superb effort.

We have a team who work hard for each other, this is the vital thing we need to get results.

The work rate was immense. Roscoe and KHM both made crucial clearances or blocks and moments later KHM was brought down at the other end resulting in Rickay's only yellow card. Jake Gallagher covers every inch of the ground but they all work hard for each other.

Just watched the highlights of the game. Horrible f****** there mob think a few of them need a slap!

Pitch was shocking just like there fans! Welling did a great job getting 3 points there!
