The thread on the Worcester match referred to an ambulance by the Club Shop after the match. Sadly this was for Graham who had felt "pins and needles" and possibly may have suffered a minor stroke. I'm sure we all wish him a safe recovery.
Absolutely shocking news....An honest man who always had time for a word with us before a game. Not only a huge driving force behind the club But a true Welling United fan.
It wont be the same without him.
Our sincere condolences to all he has left behind.
Very Very sad news. He helped take Welling United from a Sunday park team to the top division of Non-League football in less than 20 years. Hopefully we are heading back to the top again. It will be a fitting tribute to him if we can win this league... R.I.P Graham.
Very sad news - I have been watching Welling since the mid 80's on and off and Graham always had a smile at the gate particularly when I've brought my 3 sons along Lets hope the WINGS can win the trophy and dedicate the win to him Paulfromwesthill
Just heard the news and I'm stunned. My thoughts today are with Pam and the rest of the family. Without doubt Graham will be sadly missed not just at Welling but at every football club across the ground who had the pleasure of meeting him.
Really shocking news, my thoughts go out to Grahams family. A real gent who went out of his way to make us feel welcome at the club. I am sure he will be sadly missed.
