Being the foolhardy guy that I am I have decided that I am prepared to have my mane lopped in the cause of the reinstatement of Welling United’s floodlighting.
It isn’t going to be cheap to see me scalped with the target being £1,000 but £500 will see my mane down to half an inch and £250 or less leave me with a minimum of an inch all over.
Time is of the essence and any pledges will have to be made by 28 February 2007.
It is up to you how far the clippers go and therefore how much discomfort I suffer!
A full list of sponsors together with the amount I manage to raise will appear on the Welling United Fans Forum after the event.
I'm checking out paypal but until I see if that is feasible any pledges can be made by posting on this thread, seeing me at the ground me at the ground or if you know a few people who might contribute I will provide a form.
My intentions were announced at the U18 match this morning and will be opening a bank account with the £70 already raised.

Bruno seeing that pony tail walking off after the match today I have decided to double my pledge and will give you another £10 next week!. It has to go! Mark Smith.
I had a chat with the lads after today's game and we will pledge £150.00 from the Under 18's team. I also have many volunteers who would like to have first chop!!!
That money is in addition to the funds that a few of us gave you today! Well done mate and a great idea!!
Bruno, what a great idea, i'd like to pledge £10, although will it be the same Bruno afterward? look what happened to Samson! Just an suggestion. I would love to double my pledge if you had a Beehive hairdo first! Just imagine, Beehive, beard, pipe........reminds me of my Mum!!!
My daughter is already going ape about the possibility of me being totally bald. Says you'll all start calling me Big Ears rather than bruno!!!!! Ah sweet memories of primary school days I don't think.

After all the grief you gave the reserve team a couple of seasons ago, which i hasten to add went onto win promotion the following season under Sevenoaks, I will gladly donate a tenner to your cause.
After you have done the hair perhaps you could start another one up for the beard. Just a idea old boy. lol
Good luck
Many thanks T
ps: If you can make the E&B game this Sunday and I will sort you out then with the dosh.
I will be in Beckenham till 1.30ish (WU v Fisher U18) and so I won't get to see much of the E&B match but all being well I will be in the E&B bar post match.
