Thought a draw would have been a fair result. We were more dominant second half but they hit the woodwork twice.
To me we haven't been quite the same side of late the boys are trying hard but we seem to be not the same flowing football side and are not winning the second ball. Not a criticism just an observation and we certainly put some effort in tonight. I shall be behind the team again on Thursday like everyone else. All is not lost after tonights result, it just means Thursday is more important to get a result.
Hope Ade didnt talk himself into trouble with the ref at the end, didnt see the incident as it was the far side but the ref spoke to both linesmen and then did nothing
I have to say I didn't think we deserved anything either. At half time I thought we'd lose 3 or 4-1, but fair play we did improve second half. Assuming we may field tucknott on Thursday to spread the matches for some of the players - and hopefully Harps will be back.

You lotare so fickle and all too quick to jump on the Anti George Borg band waggon, his attitude and behaviour was in no way out of order last night and IMO if you are looking to question the behaviour of a manager then look no further than your own! Yes George does get excited at times and who can blame him when yousee the all round poor handling of games by most officials. The incident with your donkey Moore was nothing more than handbags and all credit to the ref and his assistants who did not see anything as withmost of the people standing down the dugout side, how can a big bloke like thatfall like a fairy when given the slightest nudge - Oh yes i remember thephrase CHEATING KENT SCUM!

Stafford the last line in your post disapoints me. George is a family man with a wife and children and to wish that sort of thing on anyone is bang out of order. I spoke to many of the Welling fans that made the trip last night and although dissapointed with the result a majority seemed decent non league fans, but statements like that do your club no favours at all. THINK ABOUT IT.
My interpretation of what stafford said was not that Mr Borg should die now but that when he does let it be in obscurity. Not perhaps the most charitable of sentiments but extreme behaviour such as he is renowned for is bound to generate extreme opinions.

Under no circumstances will I withdraw the insult. I will admit its a bit near the knuckle however. At least one person though has interpreted it as intended, it shouldn't be beyond the rest of you.
The man is an attention seeker and as such complete and utter obscurity would be a total anaethama to him. He is hardly likely to die in complete and utter obscurity whilst being one of the most notorious individuals in the semi-professional game therefore absolute bloody bollocks to suggest I either want him dead at this point (or any other for that matter, its only 22 men chasing a ball and I've handled more defeats with equanimity than most over the last 17 years). I defy anyone to LOGICALLY explain how that comment in its entirety identifies me as wanting him dead! After all he is more likely to expire in complete obscurity 40 years after he stops managing (which will make him about 100 at a guess).
Then again if you couldn't see that to start with you are unlikely to now and you will believe what you want to believe whatever I say at this point.
