Thought Lewes came for a draw. They defended well but didn't really seem to want to attack. Very strange as if they had won they could be 6 points behind 4th and 5th place with a healthy goal difference. Are Lewes not allowed into the play-offs this year? That might explain why they didn't go for it.

Great performance from us considering the amount of matches in a week.

I agree, based upon our performances in the week and their form, I was expecting a hammering on Saturday. I thought they were pretty average, but we were much improved. I think the introduction of Mackie and Bruce made a massive improvement, and we were unlucky not to come away with the 3 points.

It's inspired more confidence playing Salisbury on Wednesday, especially looking at their dip in form.

As far as I am aware, Lewes would be allowed into the play-offs, so I don't know why they should have only come for a draw. With the number of games they have left, one point was no good for them (or for us really). Mackie's performance brightened up an otherwise dreary game.

Braintree's loss on Monday and Stortford dropping two points at home last night give renewed hope, so let's hope for a win tonight. Salisbury seem to have gone off the boil, so maybe now is a good time to be playing them.
