A win tonight and we might get a bit dizzy! Let's keep this form going, just beaten a very good team and made them look average, we can do it!

So proud of the lads at the moment, keep it up!

COME ON YOU WINGS!!!

Ade and the team need as much support as we can give them so lets get as many as we can to tonights match.

Directions for Stonebridge Road (courtesy of G&N website and National Rail)

Travelling by Road

Leave the A2 at the Northfleet/Gravesend West junction. (The slip road is still under construction, but there is only one possible route) When you reach the top of the slip road, turn left (compulsory). At the roundabout go straight across and down Springhead Road, and at the second roundabout turn left and follow the signs for "The Fleet". The Ground is at the end of the road and roadside parking is available all around the ground.

Fantastic win, takes so much pressure off us, up to 3rd now but we've played an extra game than H&W.

Kedwell with a 'half over head kick' basically, back to goal, ball in the air and he lobbed Gayboy to make him look like a right prat and deservedly so as he was lucky to get away with having Lewis' throat in his hands.

Deserved the win, only just though, not the best of games either but none the less a win is a win!

Well done lads, you've battled hard the last couple of weeks with so many games, you're doing us proud, keep it going and I'm sure you'll be rewarded for your efforts!

COME ON YOU WINGS!!!

Thank Christ we don't have to go back to that dump of a ground again. Most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in. Had to move behind the goal at half-time to save the old back.

As for the food. I had a chicken burger that bore no resemblance to chicken at all. It was more like wallpaper paste with a crust. One bite and straight in the bin. The sausages looked like they were left over from Saturday week too. Absolutely disgusting.

Scrappy game saved by the brilliant goal from Keds. Even JT ran the full length of the pitch to join in the celebrations.

From where I was sitting Naisbitt should have got a red. The tackle on him was non exsistant but he made a meal of it and grabbed Ben Lewis by the throat. He got two players booked for his girlish antics and got away without even a warning. Very poor refereeing yet again.

I understand the referee was being assessed tonight, would be interesting to see the report! Absolutely right Alan, the keeper got nothing when he should have gone.

Cant say I'm particularily a fan of the ground either, the announcer spinning the wheels of steel was like a DJ from a Peter Kay wedding sketch.

Great win for the lads, what really stood out was the elation when we scored, you could see the togtherness in the team and what it meant.

Biggest dissappointment was the Cambridge fans. Wished them a safe journey home to be returned with a right load of bile and how we were "going to be thrashed by Histon" and "not liking the comments made" Still thats football and they say its a funny old game but if we make something of it I will not miss this lot. The grapes will be exceptionally sour tonight

Sorry Alan, I'm not having a go but Lewis' kick was harder than most people and I'm not sticking up for Gayboy but as a keeper myself, if your running forward (or in the stride) and someone kicks you (it's happened to me countless amount of times this season, I do get my revenge biggrin) then you're more than likely to go down. His actions afterwards were unforgiving and he paid the price with Kedwell's well taken goal to make him look like a c**t.

Referee seemed like he was scared of getting poor marks from the assesor, which may of played on his mind in making the wrong decision.

Well im gonna bet us on saturday we should be around 7/2 on betfair (MASSIVE)

Why will i bet us??

We are playing as a team and giving EVERYTHING!
Histon may stutter near the winning line
They have only won 5 more than us over the whole season
We are on form
We will be over priced
I would back us to beat anybody on our day

If anyone wants to join me a can get your £20 bet effectively a £40 bet on betfair. Message me.. So if you have 20 at appx 7/2 you will in effect be getting 40 at 7/2 or about 8/1 for your £20 with the extra money from my code.

Would you back Welling at EIGHT TO ONE?? Yep... me too

I think we should be grateful for Gravesend helping us out. Without them who knows what would have happened.

I have to agree with system of a wing - Ben's challenge was late and could have easily casued injury. His reactions were not acceptable but understandable. Should have had a yellow even though I shouted for a red - but you have to don't you?!!

Not the greatest game but no Leon and Jamie didn't help. I fancy us to get something from Histon - our defence has looked good the last couple of games. Mark Goodfellow has been excellent - I wasn't too sure earleier in the season but he has proved me wrong. Joe Bruce will become a firm crowd favourite if he continues like his - great signing by Ade. Mooro misses very little in the air. Histon will be nervous and we can play on that.

After Histon we play sides in the bottom half of the table, even if they are fighting for their lives, I fancy us and play offs are looking good. Well done the lads.

Last nights winner provoked the best goal celebration I've ever seen. Even Turner ran the full length of the pitch to join in. I think that showed how much team spirit there is at Welling united.

Even though it wasn't a great game we dug in and the timing of the goal killed any real chance of a Cambridge response.
