Basingstoke supporters seem a nice bunch of people, but why must they have those friggin' drums?

Havant apparantly did not allow them in, think we should adopt the same for next season, including trumpets and sundry.

What next, someone will want to bring a harp in

With a following wind we won't be in the same league next season and they can bang their drums to their hearts content.

I agree about the drums. Coupled with 10 minutes a time of "Blue Army" is just annoying, boring and unimaginative.

Totally agree with you Spud. A lot of people moan about drums and trumpets etc, but why not fight fire with fire? Like the old saying goes, if you can't beat them, join them.

Thing is Baggy Trousers, if someone did bring a horn or drum etc then they'd be told to stop it by someone from behind the goal because they don't like it. I've been tempted to bring a horn but I'd come under scruntiny if I did which is a shame cry

FFS!

I don't know what scruntiny but it does nt sound all that nice.

anyway, the reason that you feel that you would be told to stop using said horn/drum/mouth organ whatever is because they are aggravating and with the amount of support at our level total overkill. Yes making noise helps to support the team but instruments are not the way forward. Think about those clowns at england games. And they can play their instruments!

Drums are for soldiers and Indie bands not football terracing.

But surely an occational blow of the horn or bang of the drum to scare the keeper wouldn't prove to be our advantage? Not to mention piss him off futher etc.

I understand where you lot come from, but with the atmosphere at PVR not being the best due to lack of aucustics surely someone making extra noise would improve the atmosphere?

Don't worry, I won't be this person...

I agree wholeheartedly with flatgooner's post
