So how much will the tribunal order Grays to pay welling??

My guess is over the 10k they offered then the 15k unofficial increase they added.

When i tribunal discuss a transfer do they put on sell on clauses?

WELLING striker Danny Kedwell has signed a two-year deal with Nationwide Conference Grays Athletic.

Kedwell, who was out of contract at Park View Road, had been the subject of two bids from Grays during the season.

The Wings turned down the offers as they fell well short of their valuation of a striker who scored 49 goals in 91 games during his two years with the club.

Kedwell, who has previously played for Lordswood, Chatham, Maidstone, Tonbridge and Herne Bay, has made no secret of his desire to move into the full-time game, and had a transfer request turned down earlier this season.

Welling will be entitled to a transfer fee, which is likely to be decided by triubunal.

You have to remember welling turned down the bids as they fell well short of their valuation.

i reckon we will get 20-30k but what will that mean to us? It wont go on the players or budget and will go on some more hidden debts that materialise. So it wont matter to us fans if we get 2p or 200k

Good Luck to Danny, Im sure many will pop along and see him , Bod and Maybe Daisy if what someone posted on here said is true.

As an aside what price Bromley are tapping up a few players as we speak?

Mark, Why be so confrontational all the time?  What was wrong with saying I disagree, I think we will get closer to £2k to £4k.

It would be better if Tom just asked what the situation was but then again I will be told I am a liar or up the clubs a**e.

If we could all get on then it would be different wouldn't it!!!!!!

I will not stand by and see complete tosh being spouted as the future manager may be reading this eh!!!

Personally I think the tone of some responses from both sides of the fence all too often reflect more of an attitude to individuals than there need be and serve only to inflame situations out of all recognition.  If we could all express our views, however controversial they may or may not be, without bringing personalities into the frame we would surely have a more focused debate.

JgFc's views are just that, as are the views of you or I or anyone posting - those reading them, whoever they may be, can agree or disagree with them.

There have been several difficult questions posed on the board in the last 12 months which have not been debated beyond words to the effect of wrong again but offering no enlightenment as to why the poster was wrong in the respondents view.  If there is an alternative take on a situation is it not more constructive to post the counter view and then let people make up their minds about the matter?

On the case in point I tend to agree that any transfer fee for Keds determined via arbitration is unlikely to exceed £5k based on previous decisions.  I would like to be proved wrong as this is clearly significantly less than the fee which would be expected if he had signed the offer of an extension to his contract which was reported in the local press.
