I'd just like to say a big thank you for all who had anything to do with last nights match. It was the best entertainment I've seen for ages.

All the players looked like they were enjoying themselves too and it was fantastic to see so many old stars. It was a surprise to see Mark Kinsella there as he hadn't been mentioned in any postings. A real gent for turning up as are all the others.

4-2 to Charlton with Welling having 2 dissalowed for offside and I can only remember the ref blowing his whistle once for a foul.

Only made it for the second half but have to agree that it was a fun match.

Shame there weren't a few more people there.

Any goss on potential managers? Daisy told them at Dover hes been made an offer by Grays. Think he would be a loony to go there and jack in charlton, Grays are pony and if they get relegated next year Daisy will be in the sh i ite.

If we get a Manager im sure Daisy will stay.

Andy Ford?? The guy who walked out at farnborough? 2 Good candidates there. Whoever we appoint will send a sign to the fans and players.

Someone respected and proven = players stay and a bit of continuity
Some ex player or unknown/lower level manager = players go and season of struggle. The obvious guy is the farnborough bloke, used to working with poor budget and off field mayhem. The best guy maybe Andy Ford.

The delay isnt helping as Daisys situation shows, players wont wait for ever.

Oh no please not an ex player!!

We have people like Andy Ford wanting it and possibly others aswell qualified.

Andy if you read this , come out in the press and say you are interested. As i have a nast feeling we will get some under qualified, un proven ex player or lower league person and successful people will be ignored. We shall see wont we.
