O/T Appeal

I came across the following on the Kent FA website. The wider the appeal the more chance Joe Atkins has of getting a match so I spoke to the Kent FA who sought and obtained Joe's agreement to my reposting the item on this forum.

Appeal

Joe Atkins, a Member of the Council of the Kent County Football Association, has been diagnosed as suffering from myelodysplasia and his only chance of survival is a bone marrow transplant.

At the moment a match cannot be found and, on Joe's behalf, we, the Kent County Football Association are appealing for prospective donors to come forward.

All potential donors must be aged 18 to 40 and be in good health, they must also weigh more than 8 stone but not be severely overweight.

Any person who feels that they can help is asked to contact 020 7284 1234 or the 24 hour hotline at 0901 882234.
