For next season EVERYONE should get behind the team - put all petty differences aside and just support the team. No more bickering - just get to PVR and/or away games and be the "12th man"
I totally agree J. As a newbie to this site, I have read some very interesting and somewhat slagging off threads. Now, I know diddly squat about the clubs policy on reserves, UI6's, U18's etc, but it appears that most members of this forum are true fans of Welling United. As such, we should all be behind the club to progress as far as possible. I have never had contact with Annonymous, Bruno or JgFc, apart from on here and I am not privy to their disagreements.........who is right, who is wrong? In my eyes and reading the threads, it appears that Gary has overstepped the line and caused animosity amid the rank and file members. What did he say to the leauge? Did he really say that the youngsters were crap? That would be up for debate, but the important thing is that we now have a reserve side. Hopefully, if Neil can continue the good work of Ade, then we might have a good side for the future. As for being 12th man, a friend of mine knows Andy Townsends brother, shall I give him a call?
I think everyone is always behind the manager and the players.
Neil to be fair isnt getting any stick despite no signings in a month and our best players left, leaving or trying to leave lol.
Ill play center midfield but i might get about 42 yellow cards and a few red in the season.
Think we need a keeper (although his deals have fell through elsewhere so hes trying to get a contract at welling) and a couple of full backs, 2 or 3 strikers 4 midfielders, a winger a keeper, a sweeper and a bout 6 utility players.
I have a feeling Andrew Sam could be our rough diamond up front but Neil has to go and get a PROVEN striker who will score 15-20 in the league or we wont score enough and be up the creek.

We all have opinions about how Welling United can best achieve success and some of those expressed have been controversial and as such generated very passionate exchanges of opinion. Nobody can be right all of the time on every issue and whilst I agree that some exchanges of opinion probably give the impression of a Civil War I personally believe that though they can sometimes be heated and OTT that is surely an indication of the unity which exists and that is a passion for Welling United.
I could censor the posts to the extent that it becomes pretty much like a vicars tea party with everyone being frightfully polite and sticking to a script predetermined by me. However, if there was that level of censorship it would surely beg the question What is the point of the forum?
Charlie22, I appreciate your recognition of the task of moderating the forum but taking the rough with the smooth it really isnt that bad an experience.I do it by choice and I certainly feel that it is worth the time and effort it takes to provide a platform for fans to, within the limits of the law, air their opinions on any matters Welling United.

Thanks for keeping the forum going, supporting the mighty Wings would be a sadder & duller experience without this place.
Agree with your comments on censorship. Apart from racist or threatening comments, all views should be welcome here, even those of some of our more extreme posters.
However, i think some posters should exercise a degree of self control with their language. I know that children read this forum avidly, and I am sure their fathers do not appreciate having to explain what a **** and a ****head is. It was this type of language that spoilt Mr Linsey,s comments and explanations.
Incidently, no matter what anyone else says, i appreciate someone from the club actually explaining an aspect of a situation to the fans. Although i think a lot of the comments thrown at the club via this forum are incorrect and inaccurate, one that i feel is justified is that we rarely, if ever get information from the club itself.
I appreciate that Mr Smith has to play his cards close to his chest, but it seems that that we get more info from the News Shopper and Kent Online than we do directly from the club.
Anyway, whine over. Once agian, thanks and well done to Bruno. Cant wait for the new season to start.
One big hope - Tevez needs one last run out before the Prem kicks off, and Curbs decides to do it at ..................... oh well i can live in hope. Although it just occured to me that Mooro & Perks chasing Carlitos around for 90 mins could be regarded as a bizarre form of cruel and unjust punishment for not getting us into the play offs last term.
