RICHARD CARPENTER IS THE ONLY SIGNING THAT I HAVE READ ABOUT AND IS STEVE HARPER STILL ON CONTRACT? PRESUMABLY, NEIL SMITH AND STUART NETHERCOTT (wants to concentrate on coaching, i understand) WILL PLAY NEXT SEASON. ONLY FOUR PLAYERS IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO FIELD A FOOTBALL TEAM! AM I MISSING SOMETHING?. COULD SOMEBODY PLEASE ADVISE ME OF ANY OTHER SIGNINGS THAT I MAY HAVE MISSED!

Im not getting involved, Phone up Barrie, They have always been forthcoming if you ask them.
Maybe Paul Green can ask Neil but with sides all back at pre season it does look like we will pick up whats left.
I have spoken to an ex player who said one of the reasons he left is because he didnt want to be stuck in a side he didnt know and who may not be good enough. I have spoke to a player who MAY be signing who said he is keeping his options open.
Surely if we had signed a few then more would have been attracted.
Would be nice if we knew who some of the trialists were. Its certainly not ideal BUT Neil has been here for 6 weeks or more? So i cant see any excuses about not having the squad ready in time.
We have had plenty of time to go and get some quality. Cant go mad yet as neil might be a magician and have some conference players up his sleeve and a 20 goal a season man. But then again we might sign someone whos scored 2 goals in a season and a load of unproven lower league players.
I think Neil needs to come out and say hes signed, hes signing im looking at players from here and we wont be just signing bodies. I am getting a bit worried though.

Plenty of players are keeping their options open, So name them and a few of them might see we are actually trying to build a decent side, the flipside is we are just looking for bodies of course.
