Sorry to see Perks go as I thought he was a very good defender and did give options when inevitable injury crisis hits mid-season. As for Carts and Goodfelow I think the writing was on the wall towards the end of last season.
Separately I think it is great we have signed a left bakc as have always felt that whilst Leon can player there and is two footed, he is naturally a right footed palyer and is excellent in the right bakcp osition on the rare occasios he has played there.
I am really disappointed that Perks has gone - he was excellent last season. Wish him the best for the future. Any whispers about who are the others from last season that might sign? We know Chris Moore wants to play.
Well Ryan would appear to be a good signing. Aswell as Leon and JT if they glue him into his 6 yard box!!
IF and its a big IF we sign the 3 players being rumoured and get a CLASS striker in we could be one of the favourites.
We need a bit of legs in the team Neil.... People like Ellis (gone?, still here?) , Rivs and some legs for center midfield if we have got mid 30s chasing a game you want some legs to come off the bench.
Experience is good but we need some young legs.
We also need a striker who will get 20 not who MIGHT get 20 weve lost Boothy and Keds well practially gave em away for 20k combined. Hopefully Neil can convince a proven striker to come in.
